I am compiling this newsletter from the side lower berth of a train as it makes its way towards Harda in Madhya Pradesh where I’m heading to have a look at what Deepak Suchde is up to with BeyondOrganicFarming. When I look around and see how much mobile and data have become a part of everyone’s life, just thinking of the future gives me goosebumps. We’re living in a very dynamic, changing environment (see what I found when I asked my sister and her friends about their mobile data usage). With these thoughts swirling, I looked into the past week and beyond to pick out three special startups for this Monday:
1. Atatus
Founded by two Chennai based technologists, Atatus is a Frontend JavaScript contextual error tracking service. A developer needs to add two lines of code in their web application or website and get alerted on the error and how it had occurred in the application in real time. Atatus doesn’t only track the error but lets the developer know what user actions happened before the error occurred, figure out what input the user gave, identify in what context the error had occurred and also lets one reproduce the error.
Why are they on the list?
- Technology strong team going after a huge market- Atatus can be used by anyone who is building a website.
- Good initial beta test- Atatus was tested by 50 initial users before going live with version 2.0.
2. ShopStr
- ShopStr is built on the platform of ZopNow and is a company under the same banner of ZN Retail. The venture backed company is now entering an interesting space with a possibility of a shift in their operating model. (read more about what they’re up to)
TenderBolt is a one stop procurement solution provider from Ibay Solutions Private Limited. It is a databank for business opportunities worldwide (tenders and contract awards) from more than 40 industry sectors and 10,000+ industry segments in the public procurement domain.
TenderBolt has an algorithm that goes through public information covering tenders, projects, contract awards, procurement information invited by various entities like Government organizations, Semi-governmental organizations, corporate bodies, NGOs and multi-lateral funding agencies. Their database is updated from 4000+ sources on an hourly basis covering 7 continents ( 250+ countries).
Why is TenderBolt on the list?
